The Kids First Fish

It was actually springtime of 2008. Lindie, the kids and myself went on a hiking trip in Sedona and decided to stop by a "trout farm" on the side of the road. The kids were pretty excited about this but didn't really know what to expect. So anyway, we finally get set up with these huge bambo poles (sticks) and some overpriced bait. We dropped the bait in the water and about 200 fish attacked it and there you go. They each "caught" 2 fish and it ran me about $45. It wasn't really fishing but seeing the excitement on their faces was totally worth it. They're ready for some serious fishing this year. I've now set them up with their own poles and tackle and am looking forward to many trips together.
